Parramatta to Western Sydney Airport, Ready Before Opening Day.

Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport opens 25 October 2026, roughly 34km from Parramatta via the M4, M7 and the new M12. We're taking pre-bookings now.

What the Drive from Parramatta to Western Sydney Airport Will Look Like

Once the airport opens, the route from Parramatta runs via the M4 Motorway to the M7, connecting onto the M12 - toll-free since it opened on 14 March 2026 - directly into the Badgerys Creek precinct. It's roughly 34km, and once bookings open we expect a normal-traffic journey of around 30-40 minutes.

We've been driving the M4/M7/M12 corridor for our regular Western Sydney customers already, so when the terminal opens we're adding a destination, not learning a new route.

  • Roughly 34km via the M4, M7 and the toll-free M12
  • Approx 30-40 minutes once bookings open, traffic dependent
  • Fixed fare agreed before you travel
  • 24/7 availability - Western Sydney Airport is a curfew-free facility

Who This Route Will Serve

Parramatta's business, university and hospital community sits closer to Western Sydney Airport than to Kingsford Smith, which will make it a genuine second option once flights begin.

  • Business travellers based in Parramatta's CBD who'd rather avoid the longer run to Kingsford Smith
  • Western Sydney University staff and students flying for study or research travel
  • Families in Parramatta's growing residential precinct booking early holiday travel
  • Groups needing an 11-seater maxi taxi for team or family trips

Good to Know

We'd rather be upfront about what's confirmed and what isn't yet than promise details that haven't been finalised by the airport operator.

  • No meet-and-greet service inside the terminal - pickup will be at the designated vehicle pickup area once confirmed
  • Exact terminal pickup zones will be confirmed as Bradfield finalises operations
  • Flight monitoring will be available once bookings open
  • We recommend booking ahead for early flights once the route is live
